Taramosalata (Fish roe salad - meze)

Taramosalata is one of those dishes. It is roe fish blended into a creamy pink dip of pureed potatoes with parsley, lemon juice, and finely chopped onion (optional). In meze, this is one of the first dishes that it is served. In taverns, they always bring it along with salad, tzatziki, and tahini. We will talk about the last two later. ReplyDeleteThe cake is beautiful! Celebrating your father's birthday with his favorite cake, family, and friends is a great way to let him know just how special he is. In my Dev Psych class, we have learned that at the midlife it is very important to feel that you are valued and appreciated. After his health issues, i am sure the cake and his life are especially sweet. I wish your father many more happy and healthy birthdays.
