Taramosalata (Fish roe salad - meze)

Taramosalata is one of those dishes. It is roe fish blended into a creamy pink dip of pureed potatoes with parsley, lemon juice, and finely chopped onion (optional). In meze, this is one of the first dishes that it is served. In taverns, they always bring it along with salad, tzatziki, and tahini. We will talk about the last two later. Christos Anesti. Thank you for trying my recipe and I am really glad you liked them. They are so perfect for breakfast and this morning I had a piece of the savory one but also a large slice of the one I made with nutella. I am leaving the third one for dessert :) Both were perfect but next year when making flaounes I urge you to try the savory one as well.

ReplyDeleteI just got bad news and I immediately notice that my impulse control is in confusion because I dont know whether I am at a loss for appetite or if I want to run to my fridge to try and find something to make me feel better so emotionally I haven't even come to a definite coping device yet...any one have this happen to them?
